Kayla Brewe handles complex litigation matters involving product liability, environmental, and toxic tort claims. She has significant experience defending Fortune 500 companies as national counsel in large-scale and serial litigation, often involving extensive property damage. Her national practice includes engaging in alternative dispute resolution by negotiating settlements and participating in mediations to resolve technical and complex disputes.

Recently, Kayla’s practice has been focused on litigating environmental claims in administrative, state, and federal courts, including Superfund sites and odor nuisance class actions. She also assists with contribution claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund) and state counterparts.

As a litigator, Kayla conducts initial case assessments and legal research, drafts pleadings and motions, manages discovery, takes depositions, and develops expert testimony. Kayla’s litigation experience also includes managing several pro bono cases involving guardianships and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims.
