She also assists colleges and universities with facilitating the review of evidence, reports, and other information by parties and school officials involved in the investigation process.

Sarah first joined the firm in 2019 as a summer associate, where she applied her research and writing skills to brief attorneys in the areas of labor and employment, immigration, intellectual property, tort law, and class actions. She returned as a law clerk for the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Higher Education practice group during her final year of law school.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sarah served as an intern for the Honorable Stephen R. Bough in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, as well as served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cynthia L. Martin in the Missouri Court of Appeals in the Western District. During law school, Sarah was the Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review, where she worked closely with Judge Bough to develop a Symposium issue on multidistrict litigation that was disseminated to all United States District Court Judges. Before attending law school, Sarah was a paralegal where she gained experience managing several cases from inception through trial, including multidistrict litigation and employment discrimination matters. Sarah also holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, and has studied French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. She is a published translator of several novels.
