Cheryl Ferne

Cheryl Ferne has over 20 years of paralegal experience, and works with the firm’s Intellectual Property attorneys on foreign patent prosecution matters. She provides support in areas including:

  • S., PCT and foreign patent applications
  • Preparation of biotechnology sequence listings
  • S. PCT and international patent prosecution support, including title updates, preparations of assignment, powers of attorney and country-specific documentation, and responses to PCT invitations and other papers
  • Docket review and indirect oversight
  • Research regarding applications, art and country-specific patent laws
  • Corresponding with clients and foreign associates
  • Serving as a resource for attorneys, technical specialists, paralegals and filing specialists with respect to PCT and foreign country-specific procedures and requirements

Cheryl has comprehensive knowledge of foreign requirements and procedures for numerous countries, and develops training regarding office procedures, ePCT and PCT-SAFE.
