Rosalee McNamara Elected to The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers

Rosalee McNamara (Labor & Employment - Kansas City), has been elected a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one's colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence.

McNamara will be installed September 13, 2008 in Denver, CO, at the twelfth installation of Fellows, which coincides with the American Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Section's Continuing Legal Education Conference.

McNamara represents businesses in employment matters throughout the United States. She has successfully litigated, from charge to summary judgment or jury verdict, numerous cases including alleged sexual harassment, race, age, sex, national origin, disability and religion discrimination cases, and Family and Medical Leave Act cases, and regularly counsels clients regarding these issues and wage and hour laws, hiring and background check procedures, employee discipline and termination, and employee drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures. She regularly conducts employee training and investigations for companies.

The College was established in 1995 through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of The American Bar Association. With the current installation, the College is represented by over 950 members in 42 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canada.
