10/24/2012

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (October 24, 2012) — The Minneapolis-based law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce another addition to its vast roster of franchise law experts with Sandra (Sandy) Yaeger Bodeau joining the firm as a principal.

She practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions and focuses primarily on advising franchisors on system development and ongoing program issues, helping clients purchase or sell businesses—with a specialty in multi-unit retail transfers—and counseling companies on business formation, corporate finance, and contract issues.

Bodeau has worked with clients in a variety of industries including restaurants, other food service, hotels, retail merchandise sales, recreational vehicles distribution, home services, medical device sales, and printing and personal care services. She has also worked as in-house counsel for a franchisor of product resale retail concepts, which gives her first-hand experience with the issues faced in franchising.

Bodeau graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and is a member of the American Bar Association serving on the Forum on Franchising; Business Law Section, and is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Business Law Section.
