Renowned St. Cloud Law Firm To Combine With Gray Plant Mooty
MINNEAPOLIS (SEPTEMBER 13, 2017) — St. Cloud law firm Hughes Mathews Greer, P.A. announced today that its three attorneys will transition to join the St. Cloud offices of Gray Plant Mooty.
Hughes Mathews Greer, a St. Cloud law firm with a legacy dating back to 1934, will elevate Gray Plant Mooty’s firm by adding depth to its local client relationships and strengthen the firm’s expertise in the health care practice, as well as business, nonprofit, and litigation matters. Gray Plant Mooty has had offices in the city since 2002.

The three Hughes Mathews Greer attorneys — Tom Mathews, his son John Mathews, and Kelly Larson — will move into Gray Plant Mooty’s West Germain Street offices in St. Cloud.

Hughes Mathews Greer has represented a number of health care and other businesses in the St. Cloud area and has long been the primary outside corporate counsel to CentraCare Health, which includes St. Cloud Hospital.
Fred Hughes, Tom Mathews’ father-in-law, started his St. Cloud firm in 1930s, and was joined by his twin sons. Since then, the firm has grown and evolved but has always maintained its connection and home in St. Cloud. Hughes Mathews Greer’s three attorneys are each graduates of nationally recognized law schools.
