Gray Plant Mooty’s Mike Sullivan Elected President of the Association for Corporate Growth Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (December 14, 2011) — The Minneapolis-based law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Michael P. Sullivan Jr. has been elected president of the Minnesota chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG. Sullivan is a shareholder with Gray Plant Mooty and concentrates his practice on business/corporate law, with an emphasis on representing closely held and emerging growth companies. Sullivan advises companies on a broad range of business and legal issues and acts as the outside general counsel for several of the firm’s clients. He concentrates most of his time on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and private equity and debt offerings. He also spends time counseling clients with respect to control contests, shareholder disputes, corporate governance, and fiduciary duties.
Sullivan received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
