Gray Plant Mooty Names Darryl Hair as New COO
MINNEAPOLIS (March 1, 2018) – Gray Plant Mooty welcomes Darryl C. Hair as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective March 1.
Hair brings 20 years of experience leading operations, administration, finance, strategy, and information technology at four of the world’s largest law firms. Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Hair served as Chief Operating Officer at Sherman & Howard LLC in Denver.

As COO at Gray Plant Mooty, Hair will provide leadership, strategic guidance, and management direction to all operational aspects of the firm. Hair will be responsible for developing plans for the current and long-term operational needs of the firm and stay attuned to trends, changes, and best practices in the legal and professional services industries.
Hair’s experience includes serving as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Navy. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado and earned his master’s of business administration (in finance) from Columbia University.
Outside of the office, Hair is an extreme skier, avid golfer, hockey coach, and cyclist.
