Gray Plant Mooty Hires 10 New Associates in August and September

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 11, 2015) — The law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce the hiring of 10 new associates in the firm’s Minneapolis office in August and September of 2015.

Wade Adamson joins the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Wade graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. Prior to joining GPM, Wade served as a judicial clerk in Minnesota District Court, a judicial extern in U.S. District Court, and a legal intern for the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division.

Ashley Bailey joins the firm’s Corporate & Business Practice Group. Ashley graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School, in which time she served as a judicial intern for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In addition, Ashley is a two-time alumna of GPM’s summer associate program.

Kathryn Hauff joins the firm’s Franchise and Distribution Practice Group. Kathryn graduated cum laude from University of Notre Dame Law School, in which time she served as a judicial extern in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Kathryn is also an alumna of GPM’s summer associate program.

Wade Hauser joins the firm’s Health and Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group. Wade graduated with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, and he served as a judicial clerk in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. He is an alumnus of GPM’s summer associate program.

Peter Kaiser joins the firm’s Corporate & Business Practice Group. Peter previously practiced at Quarles & Brady in Milwaukee, and he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, he spent a summer interning with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement.

Leah Leyendecker joins the firm’s Intellectual Property, Technology and Privacy Practice Group. Leah graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and previously worked as a law clerk at GPM. Leah is also a two-time alumna of GPM’s summer associate program.

Kiesha Mayes joins the firm’s Labor, Employment & Higher Education Practice Group. Before joining GPM, Kiesha practiced employment law with the law firm Littler Mendelson in Minneapolis. Kiesha is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law and a former assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota.

Abigail McGibbon joins the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group. Abigail graduated cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. Before joining GPM, she served in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and Ramsey County District Court as a judicial clerk.

Margaret Sayre joins the firm’s Corporate & Business Practice Group. Margaret graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. She previously practiced at Davis Brown in Des Moines, Iowa, and she has served as a judicial clerk in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

Amanda Sicoli joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Amanda graduated summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, in which time she served as a legal extern in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Amanda is also an alumna of GPM’s summer associate program.

These 10 associates join newly hired principals Jan Evans, Tom Foley, and Kevin Quigley—totaling 13 new attorneys at the firm since Aug. 1, 2015.
