Dave Bahls is Gray Plant Mooty’s New Managing Officer

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (April 29, 2011) — The Minneapolis-based law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that David C. Bahls has been elected the firm’s new managing officer.

Bahls, a highly-regarded tax attorney, served previously as Gray Plant Mooty’s vice president and has been a member of the firm’s board of directors for 11 years. He represents businesses and individuals on their transactional tax planning and structuring needs. For more than 25 years, Bahls has worked with clients on numerous tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, limited liability companies, and tax controversy work. He also regularly advises closely held businesses on choice of entity issues, organizational documents, and other ongoing business matters.

Bahls is a consistent member of lists of the top tax attorneys in Minnesota. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1982.
