Daryn McBeth—Government Relations Specialist—Joins Gray Plant Mooty

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (January 2, 2015) — The law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce another addition to its growing corporate and business team with Daryn McBeth joining the firm as Government Relations Specialist. He brings nearly 20 years of experience with specialization in food, agriculture, and biotechnology.

McBeth is an experienced food and agriculture industry professional focusing in government relations, state and federal politics, industry relations, and legislative and regulatory services. Prior to joining GPM, he served as director of state affairs and industry relations at a $14B farmer-owned cooperative, president at the Minnesota Agri-Growth Council, vice president at a government relations corporation, legislative counsel at U.S. Congressman Earl Pomeroy, and general counsel at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Because of his broad background, McBeth has a deep understanding of the agriculture and food industry and its core issues.

McBeth joins a corporate and business group that has served the Upper Midwest for over 148 years, and is known as a “go-to” law firm for clients in the food, ingredients, commodities, agriculture, manufacturing, specialty ag, and biotechnology industries both domestically and internationally. 

McBeth received his J.D. from Drake University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Cornell College.
