MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (January 28, 2015) — The law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that principal Anne Bjerken has been named to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list for 2015.

The Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list is a compilation of young business and community leaders throughout the Twin Cities under 40 years of age who are already established leaders in their respective industries and communities. This year’s honorees were chosen from over 600 nominations, with recipients from a variety of industries including health care, food service, and law.

Bjerken concentrates her practice on estate planning for complex estates, estate and trust administration, and preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also works with high-profile figures in the sports and entertainment industry on their estate planning needs and does business succession planning for family-owned businesses. Her estate planning advice has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Bankrate, as well as in Twin Cities Business Magazine. Bjerken is also a member of the Guthrie Theater’s Board of Directors, in addition to co-chairing the Guthrie’s Open Call program, a social club comprised of theater enthusiasts in their 20s, 30s, and 40s that strives to connect the next generation of art patrons in the Twin Cities. An avid pro bono lawyer, Bjerken currently works with the Minnesota AIDS Project as a volunteer attorney in their estate planning clinic.
