9/11/2018

Lathrop Gage is pleased to welcome Arthur F. Snyder IV as Of Counsel in the firm’s Denver office. He joins the firm’s Energy team and brings 10 years’ industry experience.

Most recently, Snyder practiced for seven years in the Denver office of a boutique energy law firm that serves clients throughout the United States’ Rocky Mountain region. As part of the firm’s Title & Due Diligence team, he drafted title opinions for oil and gas interests, covering fee, state and federal lands, and for Native American trust lands in the Blackfeet Nation Indian Reservation in Montana. He also worked on several due diligence matters, represented parties in probate proceedings in North Dakota and Colorado, to clear title to mineral interests and drafted various title clearance documents.

Prior to his move to Denver, Snyder practiced for three years in the Minneapolis office of international law firm Fredrikson & Byron P.A., where he focused on drafting title opinions for oil and gas interests in North Dakota, and also drafted title opinions covering Native American trust lands located in the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in western North Dakota.

Active in the local industry community, Snyder is a member of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, where he serves on the Community Service Committee, and is a member and Treasurer of the Denver Association of Oil and Gas Title Lawyers.

Snyder received his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law), 1998, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his B.S. from Mankato State University (now Minnesota State University, Mankato), 1995.
