Lathrop Gage Adds Three Associates in Kansas City and Chicago

Kansas City, MO. (December 19, 2017) – Lathrop Gage welcomes three new associates to the firm in two practice areas and two states.

Two associates joined the firm in Kansas City: Taryn Nash, Business Litigation and Clint Mann, Environmental Law. Sara Barnowski joins the firm’s Chicago office in Environmental Law.  

About the Attorneys:

Taryn Nash joins Lathrop Gage after working as a summer associate in 2015 and 2016, where she supported work in a number of areas, including products liability, warranties, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, CERCLA, Kansas Consumer Protection Act, Kansas B2 class actions and various employment laws. She served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Cynthia L. Martin in the Missouri Court of Appeals in the Western District as well as served as an intern to the honorable Jeffrey L. Bushner in the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri Division. Nash graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law summa cum laude, in 2017. During her time at UMKC she served as a research assistant and served as the 2016 Student Editor-in-Chief of The Urban Lawyer. In addition to her legal career, she coaches young girls on a local competitive volleyball team.

Clint Mann practices in the area of business litigation and represents clients in the environmental industry. He worked as a summer associate for Lathrop Gage in 2016 where he assisted in a variety of Lathrop Gage’s practice areas including: Tort, Business Litigation, Environmental, and Real Estate. Mann also has experience as a law clerk, working for a local firm where he conducted legal research in the areas of substantive personal injury and tort law. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law summa cum laude in 2017. During his time at UMKC Law, Mann served as the Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review and also as a legal writing teaching assistant.

Sara Barnowski served as a summer associate at Lathrop Gage in 2016, working with the firm’s environmental, business and IP litigation attorneys on preparing research for ongoing cases. Prior to joining Lathrop Gage, Barnowski served as a judicial intern for Judge Virginia M. Kendall of the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois and was a summer intern for the Vermont Natural Resources Council. She was selected to conduct research and contribute to projects at Vermont’s Law School’s Institute for Energy and the Environment, in addition to serving as a teaching and research assistant while in law school. Barnowski graduated from Vermont Law School cum laude in 2017. She was the Administrative Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law.
