Four Lathrop Gage Partners Honored as Best of the Bar
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 26, 2014) – The Kansas City Business Journal today announced that four Lathrop Gage partners have been selected as 2014 Best of the Bar honorees. The award recognizes outstanding lawyers in the Kansas City area and is based on peer nominations. The four partners honored are:
Mara Cohara: Cohara is the co-leader of the firm’s Toxic and Mass Tort practice team and has been recognized as a Best of the Bar honoree for the past three consecutive years. She focuses her practice on litigation matters involving toxic tort, nuisance, product liability, premises liability, breach of warranty and other commercial issues.
Jay Felton: As a litigator with more than 20 years of experience, Felton currently serves as regional and national counsel for Fortune 1000 companies in the areas of product liability and complex commercial litigation. He also serves as an outside general counsel for a number of rapidly growing companies in tech, manufacturing and agriculture.
Brian Fenimore: Fenimore is the co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Creditors Rights Litigation practice team. The five-time winner of the Best of the Bar award focuses his practice on the representation of creditors in commercial bankruptcy cases and lenders in enforcement and workout matters.
Sarah Millin: As a co-leader of the firm’s Policyholder and Insurance Coverage practice team, Millin focuses her practice on litigation, arbitration, mediation and negotiation of complex claims. She assists policyholder clients across multiple industries with insurance matters under a wide array of coverage lines. Millin has been selected as a Best of the Bar honoree for two consecutive years.
