Patent Litigator Daniel Kadin Joins Lathrop GPM’s Los Angeles Office

Los Angeles (Feb. 14, 2020) – Associate Daniel Kadin joined the Los Angeles office and Intellectual Property team of Lathrop GPM. Kadin is an experienced patent litigator who assists clients in a variety of industries, such as life sciences/medical device, telecom systems, application security software and computer software. Kadin is also experienced handling trademark, copyright, trade secret and commercial litigation matters. He recently received his M.S. in Biotechnology and is a registered patent attorney.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Kadin practiced at a Los Angeles-based boutique intellectual property litigation firm where his experience included advising medical device and pharmaceutical companies; obtaining summary judgment in favor of a client’s patent rights; and obtaining a permanent injunction and attorney’s fees award against an infringer of a client’s patent.

Kadin received his M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., 2018, and his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, 2016, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor for Southwestern Law Review. He received his B.A., in Neuroscience, cum laude, from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, 2013.
