Gray Plant Mooty Hires Four New Attorneys in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (June 28, 2018) – Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce the hiring of four new attorneys—three special counsel attorneys and one associate attorney—in its Minneapolis office.

David Feingold joins the firm’s Labor, Employment and Higher Education Practice Group as special counsel. Feingold focuses his practice on single-, multi-plaintiff, and class action litigation in the employment context, as well as advising companies on employment issues. He routinely advises clients on compliance with state and federal law, including wage-and-hour compliance, and recommended strategies for managing and addressing personnel issues. Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Feingold worked at an international firm, where he represented clients from a variety of industries.

Tony Fricano joins the firm’s Health Law and Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group as special counsel. Fricano advises health care organizations on transactional and regulatory matters, including the negotiation of contracts, corrective actions, and disclosure responsibility related to audits and regulatory issues. He has extensive knowledge and experience advising clients in regard to Stark Law, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Antitrust Law, and HIPAA. Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Fricano served as in-house counsel to a large Catholic health care system and worked in the Accountable Care Division at one of the largest pharmacy chains in the U.S.

Christine Longe joins the firm’s Franchise and Distribution Practice Group as special counsel. She advises emerging and established franchises on general corporate and contract issues, corporate governance, and financing matters. Before joining Gray Plant Mooty, Longe was a deputy general counsel at an international Fortune 10 company, where she advised a $5 billion business portfolio. She is also the founder of a local fitness studio.

Kelsey Swagger joins the firm’s Corporate and Business Practice Group as an associate. Swagger focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture finance, securities, tax, and general corporate law. Before joining Gray Plant Mooty, Swagger served as a senior tax consultant at a Big Four public accounting firm and clerked for a local Fortune 500 company and Minneapolis law firm.
