Are you a Minnesota entrepreneur or inventor? Applications for the 2014 Minnesota Cup competition, the largest statewide new venture competition in the United States, are now being accepted. State residents have until May 9th to submit their breakthrough business idea to compete for $300,000 in prize money. The competition is free to apply and provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs, small business owners, or inventors working on innovative business concepts, or those who have already started a business but generate less than $1 million in yearly revenue, to bring their business to the next level. The competition in 2014 includes the six divisions from last year (Energy/Clean Tech/Water, General, High Tech, Life Science/Health IT, Social and Student) and introduces a new division, Food/Agriculture/Beverage. In our seventh year of sponsoring the Minnesota Cup, Gray Plant Mooty is proud to be a sponsor of the High Tech division.
