Law 360 Talks to Bill Beck on Opinion Issued by Fifth Circuit

On May 30, Law360 spoke to Bill Beck on an opinion issued by the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Travelers Indemnity Co. v. Ethel Mitchell. The opinion is a victory for the families of three men who spent a collective 83-years in prison for a rape and murder they did not commit, as well as policyholders. The court held that the insurance carriers had a duty to defend Forrest County who was sued by the estates of the wrongfully convicted defendants.
