This free 60 minute webinar, presented by the Higher Education Council of the Employment Law Alliance will feature attorneys from around the country, as well as GPM's Mark Mathison, who specialize in labor and employee relations in the higher education setting. This session will cover the following topics:
- The National Labor Relations Board’s Updated Election Procedures;
- Adjunct Action and its Campaign to Organize Contingent Faculty;
- Application of the Pacific Lutheran Decision to Religious Institutions; and
- Organizing Efforts By Graduate Students, Full Time Faculty and Student-Athletes.
Participants will learn about the trends in unionization on campus and the application of the NRLB’s rules to organizing campaigns.
