In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, on March 27, 2020 Congress enacted and the President signed the Federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”). Among other things, the CARES Act creates a new 7(a) SBA Business Loan Program called the “Paycheck Protection Program” and significantly expands the availability of Economic Injury Disaster Loans.

On April 1, Lathrop GPM attorneys Jeff Peterson, Andrew Hogenson, Daryn McBeth and Sarah Duniway, will discuss the CARES Act and address any remaining questions about the Act and how it applies to your organization.
