52 Lathrop Gage Attorneys Named Super Lawyers

10/23/2008

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 23, 2008) – 52 attorneys from Lathrop Gage L.C. have been recognized as Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers for 2008, up from 45 attorneys a year ago. An additional 11 were named "Rising Stars" by the publication, a distinction given to attorneys who are expected to be leaders within the profession in the near future.

Super Lawyers are selected by Law & Politics magazine, which performs the polling, research and selection in a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of the lawyers in a given state or region are named Super Lawyers.

Super Lawyers are nominated by their peers, active lawyers in the state or region who have practiced for five years or longer. These nominations are supported by interviews, independent research, data verification and a good standing review. More information is available at www.superlawyers.com.
