As part of his continued involvement in the Kansas City arts community, Lathrop Gage attorney Don Dagenais (Real Estate - Kansas City) presented "The History of Shakespeare’s Influence Upon Opera" at the Kansas City Public Library on June 22. The lecture was part of the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival's series of four lectures leading up to their production of The Merry Wives of Windsor this summer.

The series of lectures each Monday leading up to the Festival’s production, which runs in Kansas City's Southmoreland Park from June 16—July 5, 2009, is sponsored by the Kansas City Public Library, the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and SPARK (Senior Peers Actively Renewing Knowledge), an affiliate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
