Lathrop Gage Named a Top Trademark Law Firm by CSC Trademark Insider

6/8/2009

Lathrop Gage has been ranked as a top trademark filer on the CSC® Trademark Insider report. Rankings are determined by the total number of new trademark applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office during the 2008 calendar year.

Lathrop Gage handles all aspects of intellectual property issues that confront growing as well as established companies. The firm's attorneys are heavily involved in the registration of trademarks and service marks for hundreds of clients. The practice group also serves these clients in special trademark proceedings in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office such as oppositions, cancellations, and appeals. Although the bulk of this practice involves securing and maintaining trademark registrations in the United States, Lathrop Gage also assist clients who have significant portfolios of marks overseas and routinely deal with trademark registrations in the European community and a host of other foreign jurisdictions.

“Being named one of the top trademark practitioners in the U.S. is an impressive Accomplishment," said Bruce Winn, CEO of Corporation Service Company. "We congratulate Lathrop Gage for making the 2008 CSC® Trademark Insider® list."
