BAMSL Honors Colleen Ruiz with 2009 Presidential Award
The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) has bestowed upon Lathrop Gage's Colleen Ruiz a Presidential Award for service to the profession during the past bar year. Ms. Ruiz, an attorney in the firm's real estate practice group, was presented with the award at the annual Awards Ceremony today at The Thomas F. Eagleton Courthouse in St. Louis.
"I have been very proud to collaborate with my esteemed peers in the St. Louis bar this past year," said Ms. Ruiz, who has been a member of the organization's finance committee. "The organization has truly been a leader in this area of the country in the many programs and opportunities that its member lawyers make possible, and I consider myself fortunate to be recognized as a small part in some of that exciting progress for the bar association."
Ms. Ruiz regularly counsels her clients on significant real estate transactions, including mixed use projects located in both St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis. Fellow BAMSL Presidential Awardees for 2009 are Patrick Chavez, Jim Robinson, Annette Slack and Susan Ward.
