Julia Colarusso Joins Gray Plant Mooty

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (February 15, 2012) — The law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Julia C. Colarusso has joined the firm’s Washington, DC, office as an associate with the Franchise & Distribution practice group.

Colarusso’s practice covers a wide variety of subject matters, including employment law, contract disputes, and other types of civil litigation.

Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Colarusso served as a research assistant to former FCC Chairman Reed Hundt. In that role, she researched and drafted reports on economic policy, health care reform, and energy initiatives. Colarusso also completed a one-year teaching fellowship in the Legal Rhetoric Program at American University’s Washington College of Law, where she received her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2010.

During law school, Julia interned in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office and also served as an extern to the Honorable Reggie B. Walton of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
