Gray Plant Mooty Welcomes Ashley Bennett Ewald Back to the Firm
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (August 30, 2011) — The Minneapolis-based law firm of Gray Plant Mooty is pleased to announce that Ashley Bennett Ewald has rejoined the firm as an associate in the Litigation practice group. She joined the Minneapolis office after spending several years as an associate and member of the Franchise & Distribution practice group in the firm’s Washington, DC, office before moving to San Francisco last year. Bennett Ewald also served as a summer associate in the Minneapolis office.
Bennett Ewald represents clients in federal and state court cases pertaining to contract disputes, employment law violations, trademark violations, tax fraud, and other types of civil litigation, as well as criminal matters and government investigations. She has extensive experience representing franchisors in federal court and also regularly advises clients on internal auditing best practices, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Bennett Ewald served as a law clerk with MoneyGram International. She also assisted clients in pro bono asylum and immigration matters.
Bennett Ewald received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.
