Gray Plant Mooty Represents Northcott Hospitality in Sale of AmericInn for More Than $170 Million


MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Oct. 12, 2017) — Gray Plant Mooty recently advised Northcott Hospitality, the privately held parent company of AmericInn International, LLC, in the sale of its well-known Midwestern hotel franchise to Wyndham Hotel Group for more than $170 million.

The Chanhassen, Minnesota-based AmericInn franchise system is comprised of approximately 200 hotels representing nearly 12,000 rooms in 21 states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, and North Dakota. Wyndham acquired AmericInn along with its affiliated hotel management company, Three Rivers Hospitality. AmericInn will become Wyndham's 20th hotel brand.

The Gray Plant Mooty mergers and acquisitions team was led by attorney John Brower. The franchise team was led by attorney Kevin Moran.
