Healthcare Regulatory Attorney Denise Bloch Joins Lathrop Gage


St. Louis (February 19, 2018) – Lathrop Gage is pleased to welcome Denise Bloch to its St. Louis office as Of Counsel in the Healthcare practice.

Bloch has a strong background in healthcare law and brings over 20 years of experience to the firm. She is well versed in numerous areas of healthcare law, privacy, pharmacy, reimbursement, licensure, contracting, drafting, negotiations, employment and labor counseling and related litigation, reimbursement appeals, litigation management and claims management.

Bloch also counsels clients on legal matters including regulation, HIPAA, 340B, Medicare/Medicaid, Stark, fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, corporate compliance, and governance.

She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and serves as chair of the Missouri Bar Association’s Health and Hospital Administrative Law Committee. She previously served on board of the American Diabetes Association’s St. Louis chapter. Bloch received her juris doctorate from Saint Louis University, School of Law, cum laude.

Prior to joining Lathrop Gage, Denise served as Senior Director of Regulatory Law at Rite Aid, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded drugstore chains. She also served as Senior Corporate Counsel for RehabCare, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded post-acute healthcare companies.
