Lathrop GPM Continues Business Transactions Group’s Strategic Growth with New Hire Kristen Koerber
KANSAS CITY (November 7, 2023) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome associate Kristen Koerber to the Business Transactions Practice Group in the firm's Kansas City office. Her move to the firm continues the Business Transactions group's significant growth this year, which has included several new hires and the realignment of the Real Estate & Development group under the Business Transactions umbrella to support collaboration between the two disciplines.
Koerber represents municipalities, developers, investors, financial institutions, governmental bodies and other public and private entities in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of real property. She counsels clients on matters including Missouri Chapter 100 Bonds, community improvement districts (CIDs), tax increment financing (TIF), transportation development districts (TDDs) and Kansas industrial revenue bonds (IRBs).
"Kristen's experience is an excellent match for our interdisciplinary real estate and transactional team," said Mark Williamson, chair of Lathrop GPM's Business Transactions Practice Group. "Corporate transactions continue to be an area of great opportunity for the firm, and we're excited to welcome Kristen to the team as part of our ongoing commitment to meeting clients' needs in today's evolving market."
Notably, Koerber co-chairs the Communications Committee for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Kansas City, which recognized her with its "Emerging Leader" award earlier this year. She holds a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and a B.J. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
