Lathrop GPM’s Beth Haden and Ebonie Davis Named 2023 Up & Coming Lawyers by Missouri Lawyers Media
KANSAS CITY (Oct. 30, 2023) — Lathrop GPM Partner Elizabeth "Beth" Haden and Counsel Ebonie Davis have been named by Missouri Lawyers Media as 2023 Up & Coming award winners. This annual award recognizes early-career lawyers who demonstrate professional excellence while making a positive impact on their profession and communities. Those eligible are legal professionals who are 40 or younger or who are within their first 10 years of practice, as well as some older attorneys who have served as mentors.
Haden is a seasoned attorney with significant experience assisting clients with all forms of financing matters, from the structuring of deals, to drafting and negotiating the required documentation, and handling complex closings.
Davis helps clients navigate and comply with complex real estate laws. She regularly handles real estate transactions involving a variety of financing methods, and assists with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Haden earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri in 2009, her L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University in 2010, and her B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri in 2006. Davis earned her J.D from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2013, and her B.A. from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2007.
The 2023 Up & Coming Lawyer honorees were recognized at an event on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Missouri Lawyers Media’s headquarters at The Martiz Building in Fenton. The awardees were also featured in a special section of the October magazine issue.
