Counsel Cicely Miltich Joins Lathrop GPM Labor, Employment & Higher Education Group in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (March, 21, 2022) - Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Counsel Cicely Miltich to the firm's Minneapolis office and its Labor, Employment & Higher Education Practice Group.
Miltich is an experienced litigator who focuses on employment law, including unfair labor practices, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, discrimination charges, whistleblower and retaliation claims, leave and disability issues, employment and severance agreements, non-competes and other post-employment restrictions, and employee handbooks and policies. Miltich also has broad litigation experience representing businesses, governmental entities, and individuals in a variety of matters, including significant appellate experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Miltich served as an assistant attorney general in the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. She also has previous experience in private practice and was a law clerk to the Honorable John R. Tunheim of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and to Chief Justice Lorie S. Gildea of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Miltich earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, summa cum laude, in 2011 and B.A. from Carleton College, magna cum laude, in 2008.
