Jeff Peterson Named American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers Fellow
ST. CLOUD, MINN. (April 29, 2022) – Lathrop GPM Partner Jeff Peterson was elected to the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers’ class of Fellows. There are approximately 200 Fellows of ACCFL nationwide and Peterson is one of less than ten in Minnesota. Peterson was officially inducted as a Fellow on April 2 at the ACCFL annual meeting in Atlanta.
Founded in the early 1990s, ACCFL is a professional association of distinguished lawyers dedicated to improving and enhancing the practice of commercial finance law and the ethics of the profession. ACCFL selects Fellows “by reason of their character, skill and ability” to further the mission of the organization.
Peterson, a Partner in the Financial Services Practice Group and St. Cloud office of Lathrop GPM, focuses his practice on commercial transactions, creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, and agricultural and food law. He is a frequent speaker on agriculture and finance topics and is the President-elect of the American Agricultural Law Association and a former chair of the American Bar Association Agricultural and Agribusiness Financing Subcommittee.
