Lathrop GPM Adds Business Transactions Associate Brandi Lawler to Minneapolis Office
MINNEAPOLIS (February 7, 2022) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate Brandi Lawler to the firm’s Minneapolis office and Business Transactions Practice Group.
Lawler focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, general corporate law, and energy law. She serves as general counsel for small businesses and has experience with large, public corporations.
Prior to joining the firm, Lawler worked at a boutique energy law firm based in Minnesota and in the Minneapolis office of a large multi-national firm based in London. While earning her J.D., Brandi was a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Donovan W. Frank of the Federal District Court – District of Minnesota. In addition to her legal experience, Brandi worked for a multinational consumer electronic retailer as a statistical demand forecast analyst and has an in-depth knowledge of the minerals mining industry gained through her on-going pursuit of a Ph.D. in Economic Geology.
Lawler earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she was associate editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy, participated in the Non-Profit Organizations Clinic, and volunteered at Veterans Legal Clinic, Food Allergy Awareness, and ARC Twin Cities. She earned her M.B.A. from the University of Montana in 2011, B.S. from the University of Minnesota in 2008, and is actively seeking her Ph.D. in Economic Geology, Geochemistry, and Magmatic Processes from the University of Wyoming.
