Lathrop GPM Adds Business Transactions Associate Julian Sansano to Kansas City Office
KANSAS CITY (January 31, 2022) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate Julian Sansano to the firm’s Kansas City office and Business Transactions Practice Group.
Sansano has experience with business acquisitions ranging from $300,000 to $50 million, providing general corporate services, providing tax advice, and drafting internal corporate documents. In addition, he has experience representing start-up companies and established companies in capital funding.
Prior to joining the firm, Sansano worked at a boutique firm focused on advising entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses on mergers and acquisitions. He also spent time as a Summer Associate at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where he researched and drafted memos regarding futures, swaps, and derivatives, as well as drafted complaints and indictments regarding precious metals fraud.
Sansano is a 2020 graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and will complete his LL.M. in taxation in May of 2022. While earning his J.D., he was a staff member and Comment Author of the UMKC Law Review and a member of the Business Law Association and Student Bar Association. Sansano earned a B.S. in Business Finance from Baker University in 2016.
