Lathrop GPM Attorneys Brian Dillon and Ryan Gerads Named Partner in Charge of Minneapolis and St. Cloud Offices
(January 4, 2021) – Effective January 1, Brian Dillon is Partner in Charge of the Lathrop GPM Minneapolis office and Ryan Gerads is Partner in Charge of the St. Cloud office. The Partner in Charge serves as the firm’s representative in the office, including helping to communicate key initiatives, serving as a conduit between the firm and the lawyers in the office when necessary, and helping to promote office cohesion and morale through gatherings and office initiatives.
Dillon is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He focuses on trusts and estates litigation, complex business and shareholder disputes, and responding to government investigations and enforcement actions. Dillon takes the helm from Mike Sullivan, who will remain an active partner in the Business Transactions Practice Group.
“Brian is a proven leader and strong advocate for others, making him a perfect fit for the Partner in Charge role,” said Managing Partner Cameron Garrison.
Gerads is a Partner in the Business Transactions Practice Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private fund advising, and serves as outside general counsel for private and closely held businesses. Gerads takes over the role from Chris Harmoning, who will focus his efforts at the firm on his litigation practice and clients.
“Ryan is already a leader in the office, in our firm at-large, and in the St. Cloud community, which will help him transition smoothly into this new role,” said Garrison.
