Lathrop GPM Attorney R.B. Miller Honored for Pro Bono Work by Missouri Bar
KANSAS CITY (October 13, 2021) – Environmental & Tort Senior Counsel R.B. Miller was named a 2021 Pro Bono Publico Awards recipient by The Missouri Bar. The annual award recognizes lawyers and law firms for outstanding pro bono activities.
Miller is currently providing pro bono services to the Legal Aid of Western Missouri as part of Kansas City’s “Adopt-a-Neighborhood” project, specifically in the Tri-Blenheim neighborhood. His work has resulted in the rehabbing of numerous distressed and abandoned properties, improved safety in the area, and an increased sense of pride among Tri-Blenheim residents.
In an interview with the Missouri Bar, Miller said, “I am very fortunate to be at a place in my career where I have an opportunity to give back a little and devote substantial efforts to pro bono work. My pro bono work has been a very rewarding experience.”
