Cameron Johnson Joins Lathrop GPM’s Franchise and Distribution Team
WASHINGTON, DC (April 29, 2021) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate Cameron Johnson to the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and the Franchise & Distribution Practice Group.
Johnson focuses his practice on franchise law, counseling clients across a variety of industries, including restaurants and food services, home services, retail, fitness, health and wellness, and health care.
Johnson is a 2020 graduate from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Johnson was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan, Jr., U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, 2020-2021. Johnson is also an alumni of legacy firm Gray Plant Mooty’s Summer Associate Program. As a Summer Associate, he conducted legal research, wrote memoranda on variety of corporate and litigation matters, and assisted in drafting transactional documents for the firm’s franchise law practice.
Johnson earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 2012. Before Johnson went to law school, he served as an editorial assistant at Popular Mechanics magazine and worked as a writer for Anthem Insurance Companies, Inc.

Johnson is admitted to the Virginia Bar.
