Attorney Damon Schramm Joins Lathrop GPM
Jan. 6, 2021 — Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome experienced attorney Damon Schramm back to the firm following 15 years serving as in-house counsel to a number of well-known and publicly traded companies. Schramm re-joins the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Minneapolis office.

Schramm’s practice focuses on business law with emphases on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, governance, debt and equity finance, securities and casino gaming. Schramm will serve as a strategic advisor to clients leveraging his experience as in-house counsel to help them meet their strategic business objectives.
Most recently, Schramm was Chief Legal Officer and Secretary with Waitr Holdings Inc., a publicly held technology company facilitating food order and delivery from restaurants. At Waitr, he oversaw all legal and regulatory compliance, as well as the integration of 15,000 nationwide employees following its merger with BiteSquad.com, LLC. He served as Chief Legal and Administration Officer and Secretary at BiteSquad during a time of rapid growth. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Evine Live Inc. (now ShopHQ) and at Lakes Entertainment, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.
In addition to his legal work, Schramm has served on various boards, including the Secondhand Hounds Board of Directors, the Animal Humane Society Board of Directors and the Make-A-Wish of Minnesota Board of Directors.
Schramm received his J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
