Lathrop GPM Named a 2020 Tipping the Scales Firm in Recognition of Diversity and Gender Parity

12/3/2020

Dec. 3, 2020 — Lathrop GPM was named a 2020 Tipping the Scales firm by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance in its annual New Partner Report. Recognized for having 50% or more women in its 2020 U.S.-based new partner class, Lathrop GPM was one of only 46 firms named to this annual list honoring a commitment to gender parity and the value women bring to law firms and their clients.

This is the ninth year the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance has published the New Partner Report. The results are based on data compiled from the nation’s largest and top-grossing law firms, including from publicly available firm announcements and other self-reported sources on new partner classes.

Lathrop GPM is committed to an inclusive, client-focused workplace that reflects passion, creativity and connectedness. The firm provides equal employment and advancement opportunities to all attorneys and staff without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, age, ancestry, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally protected status.

“The critical- and collaborative-thinking that comes from a diverse workforce is valued at Lathrop GPM, and we also believe that varied perspectives strengthen our ability to zealously represent our clients,” said Cameron Garrison, Managing Partner.
