Partner Lori Lea Shelley Joins Lathrop GPM’s St. Louis Office

ST. LOUIS (August 28, 2020) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Partner Lori Lea Shelley to the firm’s St. Louis office, in the Financial Services Practice Group.

Lori Lea serves as bond counsel for a high volume of municipal bonds, as well as advising clients with matters regarding estates and trusts, probate, corporate and transactional matters. Lori Lea has rated top five bond counsel in Missouri by Refinitiv, formerly Thomson Reuters (a leading information source for the financial, legal, tax/accounting, scientific, healthcare and media markets) for the last three years. She represents school districts, municipalities, cities, counties, and other government entities in all aspects of public finance including general obligation, refundings, lease purchase, and district tax levy issues, to name a few. Her practice spans a wide range of industries and clients, including individuals, government entities, and businesses in the technology, manufacturing and consumer goods industries.

Lori Lea received her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in Texas. She studies dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, practices yoga and enjoys cooking and international travel.
