Bob Lambrechts Named to Ingram’s 50 Kansans You Should Know

Overland Park, KS (June 22, 2020) – In its June 2020 publication, Ingram’s Magazine named Lathrop GPM Partner Robert (Bob) Lambrechts among its list of “50 Kansans You Should Know.” The Kansas City, Missouri-based business publication’s annual list aims to spotlight the Sunflower State’s highly accomplished and colorful residents that make significant contributions to their state, communities and/or businesses.

A member of the firm’s Overland Park, Kansas, office for nearly 25 years, Lambrechts is an accomplished intellectual property attorney, filing nearly 600 patent applications in the United States and more than 400 in foreign jurisdictions, and he also handles environmental law matters. In addition, Lambrechts is a licensed professional engineer and his prior experience includes working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and playing a key role in the implementation of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.

Lambrechts noteworthy accomplishments also include: serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s schools of Law and Engineering for more than 27 years and counting; serving 28 years as an Engineering Duty Officer and Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, retiring in 2018; previously serving three years as Board of Directors Chairman for Kansas City nonprofit Heart to Heart International, which he’s been actively involved with for nearly 10 years, and now serving as Board Member and Secretary for the Heart to Heart Foundation and RegaloRx a nonprofit patient assistance program currently funded by pharmaceutical giant Amgen; being a member of the Johnson County Ethics and Grievance Committee of the Kansas Disciplinary Administrators Office since 2012 as well as serving as an Executive Committee member of the KS Supreme Court initiated Task Force on Attorney Wellness; and being a member of the City of Overland Park, Johnson County Community Response Emergency Preparedness Team and becoming a certified Emergency Medical Technician in order to give greater assistance when his community and areas beyond may need his help.
