Lathrop GPM’s Justin Sallis Named to Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 2020 Fellows Program

Washington, D.C. (Feb. 24, 2020) – Lathrop GPM selected Washington, D.C. Partner Justin Sallis to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 2020 Fellow’s Program, a program designed to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

Sallis is a member of the firm’s Franchise Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and litigates commercial disputes across the country on behalf of both corporations and individuals. He regularly counsels and represents some of the nation’s most prominent franchisors on matters central to the integrity of their brands and systems, including trademark infringement, breach of in-term and post-termination covenants against competition, violations of brand standards, claims arising from pre-contractual disclosures and representations and vicarious liability issues. Sallis also represents corporations and individuals in connection with internal and government investigations. Sallis joined the firm in 2013; he received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School.

The LCLD Fellows Program provides high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds an ambitious, highly structured training program designed to build relationships and leadership skills. The Fellows program has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011 and is one of the LCLD’s most important initiatives.

Founded in 2009, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is an organization of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
