Kansas City, MO. (Feb. 14, 2020) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Jackson Hobbs to the firm’s Kansas City, Missouri office, joining as an Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group.

Prior to joining the Lathrop GPM, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Greg Kays in the United States District Court - Western District of Missouri, where he researched and drafted memoranda and orders for judicial review, as well as managed all aspects of civil and criminal litigation including dispositive motions, discovery disputes and trial. He also practiced at an international AmLaw 100 firm in a variety of high-stakes commercial disputes.

Hobbs received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in 2018, where he was named to the Order of the Barristers and a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Hobbs worked directly with Oscar Mayer’s General Counsel on matters related to the public relations and communications strategy. The experience helped him better understand what in-house attorneys need from a business standpoint, and he draws on that knowledge as an attorney to provide solutions to clients.
