Tedrick Housh Earns Information Privacy Certification from International Organization

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 5, 2012) – Lathrop Gage partner Tedrick Housh (Labor & Employment – Kansas City), co-founder and co-chair of the firm’s Digital Privacy and Data Protection Practice Group, has been named a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) after successfully completing training and passing the Certification Foundation examination and the CIPP Examination. In securing this certification, Housh has joined a select group of individuals certified in compliance with United States privacy laws and regulations, as well as European and Asia-Pacific requirements for transfers of personal data.

Housh has counseled and defended clients across the nation in employment and business litigation matters for more than 20 years, with an increasing focus on issues related to the receipt, maintenance, transfer, destruction, theft and misuse of data.
