Richard Rhyne to be Honored at GKCWPC Annual Dinner

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 1, 2011) – Lathrop Gage partner Richard Rhyne (Business Litigation – Kansas City) will receive the Mel Carnahan “Good Guy” award at the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus 20th Annual Torch Dinner. The “Good Guy” award, named in honor of former Missouri Governor Mel Carnahan, is presented each year to a male community leader who supports the GKCWPC’s mission to increase women’s participation in politics, fight for the rights of women, children and families, and promote political equality. Rhyne has continually supported numerous female candidates for elective office over the years and aided in arranging for Lathrop Gage’s office to host GKCWPC functions such as the “Share the Torch” event.

Rhyne concentrates his practice in construction and business litigation. He received a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rating, has been selected for Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers, and has been selected among The Best Lawyers in America two years in a row.
