Kurt Schaefer to Receive Legislative Award from The Missouri Bar
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (August 30, 2011) – Lathrop Gage partner and Missouri State Senator Kurt Schaefer (Environmental – Jefferson City) will be among those honored at The Missouri Bar/Missouri Judicial Conference 2011 Annual Meeting for his contributions to the administration of justice. The meeting will take place on September 21-23, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kansas City, Mo.
Schaefer will be presented his award by John Johnston, president of The Missouri Bar. The award is in recognition for his support of adequate funding for the judiciary and public defender.
Schaefer concentrates his practice in litigation, environmental, health care, governmental relations, administrative, business and public utilities. He is currently a state senator for the 19th district of Missouri, and the former general counsel and deputy director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
