5/7/2008

J.A. (Jay) Felton, a member at Lathrop Gage, has received and accepted an invitation from the Secretary of the Air Force to participate in the 55th Annual National Security Forum (NSF) at the U.S. Air Force Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama.

The NSF exposes influential citizens to senior U.S. and international officers in order to share ideas and perspectives on national and international security issues. Felton has previously taught Issues for the 21st Century at the University of Missouri Honors College as an adjunct faculty member.

Participants at the NSF will meet with senior military leaders to explore current and future national security issues facing our nation. The Air War College is the senior professional development school in the Air Force. It educates selected senior officers to lead at the strategic level in the employment of air and space forces. The curriculum focuses on coalition war fighting and national security issues, with emphasis on the effective employment of aerospace forces in joint and combined combat operations. As an attorney, Felton represents regional and national clients on commercial, tort and intellectual property matters.
