Gray Plant Mooty Employees to Participate In Citywide Reading Program

9/5/2012

Gray Plant Mooty (GPM) is participating for the second time in the One Minneapolis One Read program by reading "Spirit Car: Journey to a Dakota Past" by Minnesotan, Diane Wilson. Gray Plant Mooty will be hosting several book discussions and events in coordination with One Minneapolis One Read this fall and is excited to have GPM employees from three cities (Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Washington, D.C) join together once again to spark conversations by reading the same book.

One GPM One Read is sponsored by the Gray Plant Mooty Firm Culture & Diversity Committee who helped engage employees by ordering multiple copies, providing opportunities to borrow the book from others, actively posting the news on their employee intranet site, sending out emails, and even sharing the news of their participation on their Facebook and Twitter pages for all employees and followers.

Service, culture and diversity, and charity are an integral part of what makes Gray Plant Mooty so unique. Their efforts in these areas make GPM a better legal service provider, and provide meaning and dimension to their work. GPM is committed to continuing these efforts through participation in programs such as One Minneapolis One Read.

One Minneapolis One Read is Minneapolis’ community read where everyone in town is invited to read the same book. This will be the second year of the citywide "read," where the entire community is encouraged to read a single book and join in a community conversation.
