IP Alert: GDPR Arrives in the U.S. – The 2018 California Consumer Privacy Act
Gray Plant Mooty and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) collaborated on "A Legal Guide to Privacy and Data Security 2019." The Guide covers key federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including the controversial new California Consumer Privacy Act as well as global privacy issues that should be of interest to any Minnesota business or organization that collects, stores, or shares personal information of customers, patients, or employees. Authors of the Guide and members of the Gray Plant Mooty Global Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection team will offer best practices for businesses to mitigate risk and answer questions you might have regarding this ever-changing area of law.
